By making a booking or calling for an emergency advice, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully accept Black Velvet Canine Coaching terms and conditions as detailed below:
Consultations
The completed intake form and full consultation fee must be received in advance in order to secure your place. If the consultation results in setting up a training schedule, the cost of the consultation will be deducted from the total training costs.
Training courses
A training course duration varies between 4 and 8 weeks. The course begins with a consultation, proceeds to defining and implementing a training plan, and ends with a final evaluation when the results and outcomes of training are assessed. Positive final evaluation means that a significant, noticeable progress has been made towards the objective set up in the training plan.
A no fix no fee approach is adopted, which means that as long as you work with your dog and implement the training plan at home, you only pay full training fee after the positive final evaluation.
To be eligible for a no fix no fee guarantee, you need to document that you are implementing the training plan in-between weekly sessions, by video recording home exercises and submitting them by email to admin@blackvelvet-k9.com prior to each weekly sessions. If you fail to timely submit any of the weekly recordings, a full training fee will become due.
Training clinics
Fees for training clinics must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation and Refund
If you cancel a booking (consultation or training clinic), the following applies:
- More than one week before the date: full fee will be refunded
- Less than one week before the date: no refund will be made
If you cancel a training course, the following applies:
- Before the course starts: no fee will be due.
- After the course starts: fee will be due pro rata to the number of weeks completed
If a weekly session needs to be canceled or postponed, alternative dates will be offered.

If such techniques and/or equipment is used, Black Velvet Canine Coaching reserves the right to ask the person or handler to change the equipment/technique or leave the course with immediate effect.
